Welcome to another Stamp-of-the-Month Blog Hop and welcome to my new blog!  If you arrived from {Michelle’s blog}, you’re on the right track.  This month’s stamp set is going to put you in the mood for Christmas.  It’s just perfect for all sorts of Christmas projects.

Isn’t it fun?  I love the cute bear and the fun tags.  I wanted to use these for a layout.  It took me a long time to find a sketch I liked and I wasn’t inspired right away, but I absolutely love how it turned out.

I used the Vintage Carol paper pack and Complements as well as some Gold Sequins.  I sponged a lot of the paper with Desert Sand ink.  The tag images are stamped with Ruby and New England Ivy ink and I coloured the heart on the house with the Carmine Touch Twin marker.  The bow on the tags is tied with Neutral Metallic Baker’s Twine in Black.  I just tied the bow in the string and then attached it with a glue dot.

    Beautiful! I love the sponge distressing. It makes it look vintage-y.

    great layout, love the cluster of ornaments along the banner…sequins are my new favourite product right now too 🙂
