I’m back with a second card created with the Artfully Sent Cricut collection. I love Christmas. It’s one of my favourite holidays. When I saw all the beautiful Christmas card options on this cartridge, I knew immediately which one I just had to create, right away! This card is the very first one I made when I cracked the cartridge box open.
The front of the card is very simple, because the inside … the inside is awesome! I used one of the new Christmas stamps, in Black ink and two strips of Silver Shimmer Trim. And now… the inside:
Isn’t that so neat?!?! Don’t pay too much attention to the cut star because my Cricut was acting up and I needed to change my blade. I couldn’t find my new blades so I just left it. It didn’t cut so nicely, but because I was so excited to put this card together, I used it anyway! I sponged some Cocoa ink around the edges of the cut images to minimize my messy cuts. A girl’s gotta do whatever it takes to make a card. 🙂 I added some Bitty sparkles and White enamel stars to make the night sky even more glorious. And here’s a closer look at the pieces that create the pop up:
Each of those sections are cut for you, with tiny tick marks to show you where to score it. I strongly suggest you score it instead of trying to fold it on your own; it’ll work much easier.
Just like the last card, the stamped frame and sentiment are from the stamp sets in the collection.
