Welcome to another Stamp-of-the-Month Blog Hop! We’ve got a good group of consultants participating this month. If you arrived from Carol’s blog you’re on the right track. This hop is one big circle, so if you’re starting here, keep clicking the links in each post until you get back here.
This month’s stamp set is beautiful and I had a lot of fun working with it.
I brought a limited amount of supplies to my crop last weekend and worked only with those, but was still able to create a few different looks with this set. I’m very happy with how they turned out. Here is my first card:
The only paper I used was White Daisy and the Paper Fundamentals. I love the shimmer on these papers and I had fun choosing which side I would use for these cards. For this card, I used Glacier and Flaxen paper and added Black and Pixie inks. I also embellished with staples, sparkles, and our new White Shimmer Trim. Here’s a close up:
For my next card, I went with a totally different colour palette, for a very different look. I love these warm colours. They are among my favourites.
I used Topiary, Honey, Autumn Terracotta, Barn Red, and Cocoa paper and matched the stamped images to the papers. I popped the squares with Thin Foam Tape and added a strip of Metallic Bakers Twine and some Gold Sequins. I also distressed the edges of the squares with the matching ink. Here’s another close up so you can see the shine.
I have one more card made with this set, but I think I’ll save it for another day. 😉
It’s now time to hop on over to Kami’s blog and check out what she’s created. Happy Creating!

What a fun idea! I’ve never participated in a blog hop before!

It is super fun. I do a couple of them a month. A great way to get new people to your blog.

I really love the first card, it is soft and very lovely. The second card is very masculine, which is totally not what I would of thought of for this stamp set. Great job.
Krista
Thanks Michelle.
Cat Nowak
Awesome cards! I love the colors in the first and the second is really cool the way you matched the colors to the fundamental papers.
Krista
Thank you Cat. I had some input from other crafters at my crop for that little matchy, matchy bit. 🙂
Brenda Lapp (centralNYscrapper)
Wonderful cards. I am fond of the softer colors, but my mother loves what you did with the fall colors.
Krista
Thank you Brenda. 🙂 I love fall!

Oh, thank you! I wasn’t trying to think outside the box. It just sort of happened! LOL
