Welcome to another Cross Canada Hop! This month we are focusing on Easter creations. If you arrived here from Dominique’s blog then you are on the right track. If you are starting here just keep hopping until you get back. If you would like to literally hop across Canada, pop over to Michelle’s blog to start at the beginning. If you get lost along the way, she has a complete list of hoppers.
When I saw the His Love stamp set in the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalogue, there was no question that it would join my collection. I love the fonts and that sweet lily. My mom always has an Easter Lily in her living room at this time of year and it never fails to make me smile. Here is the card I created:
All the images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured in the flower using our ShinHan markers and then trimmed it out carefully. The Glacier patterned paper is from the Paper Fundamentals Whimsy collection. I added a strip of Juniper cardstock after punching it with the scallop-edge punch. I had to add a bit of sparkle, since it is a pretty happy sentiment, so a strip of White Shimmer Trim worked perfectly. The White Cardstock is embossed with our Dots embossing folder. I’m trying to use those more often. 🙂
I used this week’s Freshly Made sketch for this card.
Here’s the inside (Yup, I even dressed up the inside!).
I think I might give this to my parents this year, with a little note about how much I love their Easter Lilies each year. 🙂
Now, hop on over to Sheri’s blog to see more Easter creations. Don’t forget, if there’s anything you see that you’d like to get your hands on, just contact your CTMH consultant.
