This month’s stamp set is super cute!  Just take a look:

It screams “Summer!” and ice cream happens to be my favourite treat, so this set was yelling my name when I saw it.  🙂

Here’s what I created.

June 2015 sotm card

 

I really enjoyed colouring in the ice cream truck with my Shin Han markers.  I added a couple strips of washi tape to anchor my truck and then stamped the top banner as well.  I just removed the ink from the little letters beneath the happiness word to make it fit.  The inside of the card has the rest of the sentiment, but I forgot to take a photo of that.  Then I added two strips of washi tape to make the banner pop a bit more.  The white background is embossed with our striped embossing folder.  The pink paper is from the Taste of Summer paper pack.

This is one of the projects people at my new SOTM workshop will get to make.  I’m looking forward to sharing it with them.

    Nice card, great coloring and that arrow washi tape is perfect. Makes you want to open the card and see what is inside.

    Adorable card! Great idea to use just a portion of the sentiment. And the arrow Washi Tape really gives the truck some motion.
