Atlantic Hearts: Guest Designing!

Hey there!  I was asked to be a guest designer for Atlantic Hearts this week.  I used to be on the design team, but had to give it up a while ago.  I do love their sketches but often don’t have time to play.  When Michelle contacted me to participate, I jumped at the chance.  And I thoroughly enjoyed creating a card, just for the fun of it.  Check out their post to see what the sketch looks like.

I had some La Vie En Rose paper and complements on my desk from working on a layout kit, so I thought I would use up some scraps.

That pink strip is from one of the zip strips.  I used the Share the Love stamp set (LOVE that camera!). I stamped the flash part in Pomegranate ink and trimmed out the little heart and also added some Sliver Glitz Gel to the lens.  Some Silver Foil Tape was perfect for the lines in the sketch.  I wanted to add some enamels, but just couldn’t find a good spot, I guess because this card is finished just as it is.

In this photo you can see how I popped the circle with Thin Foam Tape and added an additional zipstrip on the inside.  I also stamped the “You make me smile” sentiment inside.
