Welcome to another Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. I’m excited to be participating again after a long time. (It’s been a while since I posted and I’ll get into that in another post.) If you’ve come from Paige’s blog, you’re on the right track. The hop is one big circle, so just keep clicking until you get back to where you started.
This month’s stamp set is super cute, especially if you have little people in your life.
I chose to create a layout of my daughter, since I’ve been scrapbooking more photos of my son lately.
I initially started using old paper and then realized that Zoe would work even better. I love this pattern from Make It From Your Heart Vol. 2. Arianna chose which of the balloon animals she wanted on this layout. I stamped the horse in Glacier, the doggie in Sorbet and the bunny in Sweet Leaf. I also added the confetti image around the page using second generation in Glacier ink.
I just realized that I forgot to circle the date on the calendar zip strip on the left page. Something she wanted to make sure I did! Oops, better get on that. 🙂
I added the “It’s Your Day” sentiment into my journaling with Sorbet ink and then stamped all over the piece with second generation Slate ink. I also had to make sure I added some stars, as per Arianna’s instruction, from the Zoe Complements.
The 4×6 photo on the right page is a flip flap so I could include photos of the crafting we did. I finished off the page with Blue Enamel & Glitter Duos.
Here are a few close up photos.
My title was stamped with 3 different alphabets, Handwritten Print, Typography, and Jennifer’s Hand.
I can’t wait to make some sweet cards with this set. It’ll be perfect for the next birthday party my kids attend. Actually, I think a card with these images would even make my own friends smile.
Now, hop on over to another Krista’s blog and check out the lovelies she’s created. Happy Creating!
