Cross Canada Hop: en Francais!

Bonjour / Hola / Hello!
Welcome to our March Blog Hop featuring CTMH stamp sets that are available in French, Spanish and English. When you flip through the catalogues those stamps are identified with a World globe.

We have an amazing group of talented ladies all across Canada, and they sure would love to hear from you, so before hopping onto the next person, take a moment and leave a comment about what you loved.

If you’ve arrived from Diana’s blog, Farmer Di Stamps, then you are in the right place!  If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, and continue from East Coast to West Coast, you can start here at Michelle’s blog, My Creations.  She’s also got a complete list of all the blogs on the hop in case you get lost along the way.

Here’s the card I made.

I had Hello Lovely on my desk from some past projects so instead of packing it all away, I used it for this card.  I’m trying hard not to hoard paper and so my goal was to use only patterned paper and no cardstock.  🙂  Gotta use it up!  All my supplies were from the Hello Lovely Workshop Your Way, including the embellishments, gold glimmer dots and blush ribbon.  I also used a sponge and Desert Sank ink to edge all the papers.  I love the softer look it gives to these beautiful papers.  My card was inspired by last week’s Atlantic Hearts sketch.

Here’s a closer look at the embellishments:

I used Whisper ink to stamp the sentiment from the French version of Happy to be Friends.  Here’s a better look at it:

Check out all the great sayings, in a beautiful font, found in this stamp set:

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Charlene who is being hosted by Dominique at Fun2cre8.

Thanks for hopping with us!  To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

Happy Creating!

Thanks Michelle. I do look at your sketches, just don’t often get the chance to create with them in time.

Stamping on the patterned paper looks awesome, and I love how the embellishments draw the eye to the sentiment. Beautiful card, Krista!

  4. Simply beautiful as always. You are so good at layering and clustering. Nicely done.

Wonderful use of your leftover papers and embellishments! Love how you offset the sentiment with the heart and gold gem. The ink distressing adds to the softness of the card. Love it! – Charlene Weiss-Colgan

I love to read your comments!
