Cross Canada Blog Hop: Let’s Document It!

posted in: Layouts, Workshop Your Way | 10

Welcome to another Cross Canada Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from Diana’s blog you’re on the right track.  If you’re starting here, just keep clicking the links at the bottom of each post and when you make your way back here, you’ve feasted your eyes on all that we have to offer.  If you get lost along the way for some reason, the full list can be found on Michelle’s blog.  Now, on to the artwork!

This month we are focusing on the Documented paper suite, and I think this one might be my absolute favourite from the Seasonal Expressions 2 catalogue.  Let’s start with what you can find in the Workshop Your Way kit.

Documented WYW kit
Kit contents:
1 – Documented paper packet (X7234B)
1 – Documented Complements (X7234C)
4 – cardstock sheets (2 Linen, 1 Saffron, 1 White Daisy)
1 – Documented titles (Z4171)
1 – Documented dots (Z4177)
printed instructions
photo placeholders

I had a lot of fun with this kit and the layouts are beautiful.  I wasn’t able to find photos in time for my third layout, but I look forward to taking some photos of my daughter to add to it.  The first layout worked perfectly for our weekend away to Stratford to indulge in my first love, live theatre!  And the second one was great for documenting the relationship my kids have.

I used the 4×6 space to put 2 smaller photos of my husband and I at the two different shows.  I also used my photo-editing software to put two even smaller photos together for one of the 3×4 spots.
Not all the photos I wanted to use had colours that matched, so I changed those ones to black and white.
All ready for photos!

It’s time to hop on over to Brae’s blog and see what she’s created with this gorgeous paper suite.  We are in the last month of this catalogue, so if you see something you like, be sure to contact your consultant right away so you don’t miss out.

Happy Creating!

The layouts from this WYW kit are gorgeous – love the intense colour scheme. Great photos to go with the first two layouts as well.
