What a Whirlwind!

Our family is in the middle of a whirlwind right now!  We got word recently that our little boy will be ready to come to his new home soon and we have been scurrying around to get our house and things ready for him.    

And I now get to share this super fun information:

We are happy to introduce Jonathan Robert Ritskes.  This photo was taken a few weeks ago when my husband Chris was able to visit him very briefly while on a mission trip to Haiti with Speroway.  We hope that this little guy will be home with us before Christmas!  We would so appreciate your prayers for Jonathan’s visa to be processed quickly so Chris and I can go down and get him.

Now, on to other things.  Obviously my focus has been elsewhere lately as we prepare to have Jonathan join our family.  I apologize for not getting on my blog lately to update you on what’s happening with Close To My Heart!  This will be a long post, but I hope you’ll read through and just click the links if you would like more info about anything you see here.
