It’s already February 1 and I haven’t posted a thing since November! Life just got really in the way. If you follow me on Facebook you know that some HUGE things have changed for our family. In November we got word that our son in Haiti was now officially part of our family and we should get ready to travel to Haiti to get him and bring him home. We stepped it up into high gear, getting the boys’ room ready, buying toddler “stuff” and our church even had a shower for us! We had more delays due to the Canada Post strikes and some issues in Haiti, but we finally flew out January 2 to spend about 5 days at the orphanage in Haiti and bring our new son home for good.
We have now been spending the time adjusting to having a 2-almost-3-year-old in the house again. (Our other kids are 13 and 11!) Jonathan also needs lots of love and attention and snuggles and play time and more, and so he and our family have been my priority lately.
On top of that, the host for my website switched servers and my website was negatively affected. I couldn’t upload anything! That meant I couldn’t update one thing, so I apologize if you popped in and saw images and specials for November and December. Well, everything is fixed and I’m back!
I wanted to start by sharing the February stamp of the month with you.
Now, I haven’t had time to create with this set, but I think it would make some beautiful cards or even a piece of home decor. You could stamp that main image, colour it in, and frame it to give to someone who really does make your heart happy.
