Picture My Life: Pocket Scrapbooking…or Not

posted in: Layouts, Promotions | 0

I love the Picture My Life (or PML) cards Close To My Heart has created to match all the paper suites in the new catalogue. They’re great for getting some quick scrapbooking done when you create pocket pages. Slide in the cards and some photos, do some journaling and you’re done! But, maybe pocket scrapbooking isn’t your thing. Maybe you want to do something that looks like a regular page, but don’t want to spend tons of time on it. Enter PML cards.

Here’s a layout I completed this past weekend.

I started with a Bluebird cardstock base page, and added a White Daisy piece, trimmed just a bit. All the papers in behind my adorable photo (isn’t he just the sweetest!?) are PML cards from the Something Fierce pack. I added in some journaling, stamping (with a sneak peek at April’s Stamp of the Month), zip strips and some more embellishing. I used word stickers from the So Much Happy pack because the colours worked so well and the wording was perfect, and added a few of the heart puffies and some black and white dots.

And guess what! ALL our PML cards are on sale until the end of March, for 35% off to celebrate our founder’s 35th anniversary in the crafting industry. That means this is the perfect time to stock up on your favourites. Just pop over to my website to check them all out, by clicking here.

Are you a card-maker and not a scrapbooker? Maybe you just thought, “well, that’s a lovely layout but this sale is not for me. I don’t scrapbook.” Well, stay tuned, because I’ve got some beautiful cards made from our PML line coming soon. 🙂

Happy Creating!
