Cross Canada Hop: Central Park Workshop Your Way

posted in: General Info | 2

Hello everyone!  I have the pleasure of returning to the Cross Canada Blog Hop as the official Workshop Your Way “reveal-er”.  We are focusing on a particular paper pack each month and I get to show you the Workshop Your Way kit.  If you came from Sheena’s blog you are on the right track.  If you just popped on my blog first, be sure to keep clicking the links at the bottom of each post until you get back here.

This month, our featured paper pack is Central Park.  I love the super fun colours and the Complements that come with this kit are perfect for so many things.  My layouts will show, that although most of it looks like summer, you can use this kit for more fun things.

First, let’s show you what comes in the kit.

Here’s what’s included:

1 – Central Park paper packet (X7231B)
1 – Central Park Complements (X7231C)
4 – cardstock sheets (1 Pacifica, 3 White Daisy)
1 – Central Park sequins (Z4178)
1 – Central Park alphabet (Z4197)
printed instructions
photo placeholders

Here are the three layouts you’ll get to create with this kit:

I had to cut the one branch of the tree so it didn’t cover my son’s head, but I think it still works.  🙂

In the instructions for this one, there shows a red heart in the cluster on the right page, but there is no heart in the kit.  You could cut one I guess, or just leave it off like I did.  I don’t miss it at all.

I think this one might be my favourite.  (If my photos are blurry I apologize.  Not sure why and I’ll be working on it to make sure it doesn’t happen next time.)

Now you get to hop on over to Brae’s blog to see what she created with this fabulous paper pack.  If you like what you see, contact your consultant to place your order.   Stay tuned to our hop next month where we will showcase Documented.

Happy Creating!

This month’s stamp set is super cute and perfect for documenting a LOT of different things.  I think it would make a beautiful cover page for your 12×12 album or a smaller scrapbook.

Stampaganza is back for the month of July!

That’s right!  Buy 2, get 1 free on ALL our stamp sets.  But we’re also bringing back the solos, from waaay back.  Click here to see what these stamp sets look like.  And that’s not all!  Check it out:

Isn’t that super fun?!  If you’d like more information about becoming a hostess or joining the CTMH family as a consultant, just shoot me an email or scroll down for other ways to contact me.

Chelsea Gardens Card Workshop and a Little Update

posted in: Cards, Workshops | 0

Hello everyone!

Wow, life has been crazy lately.  Some of you know that our family is in the process of adopting from Haiti.  Soon after my last blog post we found out we had been matched with a little boy and that we could go right away to meet him!  Our fall months were full of making arrangements for a 2-week visit and for our regular mission trip, as well as the regular business of doing life and well, business.  🙂  I can’t share photos of our little guy and he’s not home yet because there are still many steps in our process and he isn’t officially our son yet.  But I will share when I’m able to.  Life is now back into a rhythm we recognize.

So, now I’m back to doing card workshops!  Like I used to do, I’m offering Create@Home kits for anyone who isn’t able to attend the class.  Here are the details:

Chelseal Gardens cards by Krista Ritskes #simplycreating

Three of these cards were designed by the Close To My Heart Art Department and we created them at our Seasonal Expressions Launch in December.  I thought they would make a great workshop.  You’ll get to create all 5 of these cards.  We will play with watercolour pencils, the Clear Shimmer Brush and vellum.

Just look at that shimmer!
